This isn't really Starry Knights related, but look! Megan and I are mentioned by name! Very exciting.
Starry Knights is, unfortunately, on hiatus for the foreseeable future. Megan and I both simply have other projects that we are working on. Nonetheless, we certainly plan to come back to finish it... one day....

Starry Knights returns!!
As of Monday January 19, Starry Knights will continue to update on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On the downside, another huge break in updates may be expected in April, but we are currently working in order to preemptively minimalize the length of the April break. Until then, huzzah for the return!

Okay, so... here is the deal:
There IS more Starry Knights. It has been written and drawn and is in the computer. Rel and Megan, however, have spent the past several months working very hard on OTHER comics (which may or may not end up on the Starry Knights website or elsewhere on the internet), and will continue do to so at least until May. Nonetheless, Starry Knights will definitely return over the Summer, if not sooner (we hope sooner!).
Until then, we will both be quite busy with school work, unfortunately.

good news and bad news
So, good stuff first--
Small Press Expo was totally awesome, Megan and I had a great time. We also got to meet such exceptional artists as Kate Beaton, Mike Dawson, Joey Sayers, Keith Knight, and James Kolchaka, as well as many others.
We definitely plan on attending next year. :D
The bad news- due to the strain of conventions and schoolwork, Starry Knights will be going on a brief hiatus; right now we are thinking for a few weeks. When it comes back the site will be totally revamped (and awesome!), but the updates are going to slow down to just Mondays.
At any rate, we're determined to not let the workload keep us down, so Starry Knights will definitely be coming back; Maggie and Sam still have MANY more adventures ahead of them!

More conventions!
Hey all, we had a blast at the New York Anime Fest last weekend and even managed to sell a few copies of Starry Knights Issue 1 along the way. Woohoo!
Just to let everyone know, Megan and I will be attending Small Press Expo in Maryland this weekend. More copies of Starry Knights will be available there. We are looking forward to the trip to Maryland!

Minicomics!!
So we got our acts together and made 12 starry knights minicomics to sell at New York Anime Fest.
You don't know how exciting it is to have a stack of these! they look so pretty and neat. As Rel said: "It's like they're real or something!"
so if anyone reading this is going to the New York Anime Fest, come by the SVA booth and buy it!
(And one of everything else, I'm sure the stuff on our table will all be amazing.)

(also, isn't it funny how I always post mostly pictures and rel's are all words?)

NYAF
Things are looking good on all fronts-- the comic is going strong, the kinks are getting worked out of the website, and neither Megan nor myself have had any mental breakdowns thus far. Hooray!
Anyway, the New York Anime Fest is right around the corner (September 26-28). We we will both of us be attending and working our school's booth in the Artist's Alley, and this will hopefully afford us an opportunity to plug Starry Knights. More on that once we find out the specifics.
Keep reading Starry Knights, it's only going to get better from here on in!

Starry Knights has officially set sail into that great big universe which is the INTERNETS!
We realize that the site has a few kinks to work out still, but they are all being attended to.. we are very excited and hope to see the comic well received!
Feedback is also very welcome; so please feel free to comment here on the blog or e-mail us at reganandmel@yahoo.com.
